Whether we are using a single strand of metallic thread for subtle embellishments or showcasing bold, bright crayon coloring on fabric, we are always challenging ourselves to offer creative and fun designs with easy-to-follow instructions. Our designer enjoys sharing these techniques in classes, so check out our calendar for a class near you.

When I was 9 years old, I moved to a beautiful Colorado mountain town to live on a street called Meadow Lane. It was there that my mother taught me to sew and ignited my passion for quilting. Over the next 25 years, I explored many different crafts before finding a second love in hand embroidery.
I have always enjoyed giving handmade gifts, so when my parents purchased a camper a few years ago and decided to decorate it with a bee theme, I thought a beehive trailer would be a cute embroidered wallhanging for a "trailer-warming" gift. Not finding any patterns specifically for a beehive trailer, I thought I'd try drawing one myself. That's how my very first design, Misbeehavin' was born! My parents loved their gift, and I discovered that I loved the art of designing my own patterns. My mother's encouragement to sell my designs sparked the idea for Meadow Lane Stitching. With the amazing support of my incredible husband, my mom and dad, and all my wonderful family and friends, I quit my "day job" to devote my energy to sharing these designs with you. I hope you enjoy them!
